Preface

In Japan there were too many things which was unknown concerning with Yoga and Buddhism. Rather than to say unknown, the fact is that the truth which is the most important part of the basement of Yoga and Buddhism was missing.

Perhaps the important teaching was lost on the way of inheritance to Japan since Japan was too far away from India where the religion of the truth was born. Or perhaps the level of the souls of Japanese people as the reciever was too low.

In any case, most of the books concerning with Yoga and Buddhism is caught to mental theory. Some of them have strong influence of Shintoism, and some of them have strong influence of Confucism.

However, in India and in Tibet, the neighbor country of India, the truth is still being inherited today. It is because there actually existed the enlightened ones who recognized the truth and had mental progress.

They had left the sutras or books for explanation as follows:
Concerning with Indian Yoga:
Upanishad
Science of Divine Life
Science of Soul
Concerning with Tibetan Buddhism:
Namlin
Ngalin

By the way, in Japan, it is said that Dainichikyo (the Great Sun Sutra) is the best sutra in Yogic esoteric teaching.

From my point of view, Dainichikyo only speaks up to the middle level, though it is also true that its teaching is wonderful. I asked some of the Tibetan monks who knows very well about this sutra.

He also had the same opinion as I had. He said that it only speaks up to the middle level.

That is the time when such idea occured to my mind - There should be the book which introduces all the spiritual stages and the truth in Japan. There should be a lot of people who is waiting for it.

And I had decided. If nobody does this job, I shall do it.

Because I recognized the truth and experienced all the spiritual stages with the help of my spiritual practice. Through all history, I should be the only Japanese who had attained to this stage.

This was how this book came to be published. And here is one thing which I want you to know. What is written in this book is not the knowledge but things which is based on my personal experience. They are things which was proved by my own experience.

That is why I can publish this book with confidence. (If there were anyeone who has different expereince, please contact me.)

There should be parts you can't understand just by reading this book. It is natural. But I believe that you will be able to actually experience by yourselves someday by your own spiritual practice. My disciples as well as the members of AUM all develop their spiritual stages by experienceing various things.
